Some shots from a recent 'Personal Photographer' gig in London last weekend. I was hired by this lovely family of five, who were visiting from Texas, United States for a few days in the city.
When I asked the dad if they found me through my website, he said "No, the Concierge recommended us to reach out to you for taking our family photos while we are there". Good to know that I am being recommended by hotel staff, considering they were staying at a prestigious one on Westminster Bridge, where I went to meet them.
They wanted some photo memories of their family trip to London and they contacted me. Clients usually already have a rough idea of tourist attractions & locations they want to visit. In addition, I always suggest some non-touristy 'secret' places only a London local photographer would know, which they appreciated.
Personal photographer shoots are always a lot of fun, especially when you have easygoing subjects to work with. I was given the go-ahead to take full creative control of the 4-hour session, which allowed me to capture both the posed family photos they wanted, but also some fun, candid moments when I observed them.
I just finished editing the final selection of photos, which I have now sent over to the client.
